The place, which is considered by most of the people the heart of the city, was crowed because of it, and both tourists and Erasmus students didn’t know it could be such a great event. But it was, of course, and Turin once again surprised the people.
I am talking about enjoy your cappuccino and croissant while reading a book, sitted in a nice but tiny bar in Turin.
Located 5 minutes from Piazza Statuto, one of the main squares in the center of the city, the bar offers a brilliant alternative to the ordinary breakfast, giving the chance to have a personal library, where clients can easily take one book by leaving one.
Tuscan food, in fact, is one of the best in the country, and you can’t skip any of the specialties this place can offer you. It’s like going to Florence and not to visit the Uffizi Museum or the Dome. It’s crazy, isn’t it?
Talking about the “bistecca alla fiorentina”, it is a T-bone steak knows as that name, and it is very succulent. It is a must for lovers of Italian food, and ordering it has to appear on “things-to-do-list” while you are in the city.
Since Saint Valentine’s Day is only celebrated by happy couple who are in love, such as boyfriend and girlfriend, husband and wife, etc. it’s such a depressing day for all the people who are still single and don’t have their Valentine.
So, instead of locking themselves in the house, crying and eating popcorn while watching some chick flick movies such as “Bridget Jones’s Diary”, Italians found a better solution as protest for a day in which chocolates, heart and roses are the only things you can see around.
The solution is organizing another festivity, which is called Singles’ Day. I swear I am not kidding, believe me and learn more about this holiday.
